Easter Egg Hunt

See the Easter Bunny and hunt eggs at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The action starts at 1 pm in Hickory Park!

Community Action Day

Get involved and have pride in your community! Once again working with the kids in the Byron-Bergen schools, we'll spend the day planting flowers, picking up our parks, putting up flower boxes, and cleaning up the village that we call home. The action starts at 9 am in Hickory Park!

Park Festival

The Park Festival will be two days this year starting Friday with the chicken BBQ, band and basketball tournament. Saturday begins with the parade, followed by all the usual festivities we love and conclude with everyone's favorite fireworks. 

Concert in the Park Series 

The Village is happy to announce the return of Concerts in the Park. So far there will be four concerts in Hickory Park all at 6:30pm. On June 24th we will hear Genesee Ted, on July 9th Something Else, July 29th Trilogy and August 26th the Cummings Family. We will post more details soon! 

Bergen Summer Recreation Program

10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday thru Friday, 6/29 thru 8/7

We are excited to announce the return of the Village's FREE summer recreation program. This year's program will be six weeks long and is for ages 5-15. Register at the Village Office with these forms.

Jenny Kuzma Memorial Bergen 5K

Starts at 8:30 pm

The annual road race will begin at 8:30am on August 8th in Hickory Park. Click this link for more information.

Hickory Fun Run for Kids Starts at 9:30 am

The 2nd Annual Hickory Fun Run for kids ages 3-12 will be held at Hickory Park at 9:30am following the Bergen 5K. 

Cornhole Tournament

Starts at 3:00 pm

Friends of Bergen Parks will be hosting a Cornhole Tournament in Hickory Park on August 9th with check-in at 3:00pm. The cost is $20 per team with prizes for 1st and 2nd place and is limited to 20 teams. Click the link for registration information. Click this link for more information.

Hallows Eve Festival

Starts at 4:30 pm

Spooky fun is set for October 17th in Hickory Park! Beginning at 4:00pm with the always popular Ghost Walk in Mount Rest Cemetery proceeded by the Costume Parade at 5:30pm at the Post Office, concluding in Hickory Park for the Trunk or Treat which will be fun for all ages with lots of trunks to trick or treat, food trucks, DJ, bonfire, and scavenger hunt. Don't miss all the FUN!

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony & Santa's Block Party

Starts at 6:30 pm

On December 7th we will be hosting our Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Zuber Park starting at 6:30pm. There will be a performance by the elementary band, senior high chorus, a DJ, cookies, hot cocoa, crafts and of course Mr. & Mrs. Clause.
